Since 2018, Midad and Packers Plus have partnered in Saudi Arabia to deliver industry-leading, innovative cemented and open-hole completion systems. These solutions address challenging applications in horizontal, vertical, multi-lateral, high-pressure/high-temperature (HPHT), and offshore wells.
Building on this success, the collaboration between the two companies was further strengthened by the decision to invest in developing manufacturing capabilities for Packers Plus technologies within the Kingdom. This initiative will leverage the local supply chain to support Saudi Aramco and serve its operational needs.
In 2024, the MEC Manufacturing Facility commenced operations, providing high-end machining and assembly of completion components following Packers Plus’ exacting standards and processes. The facility is ISO 9001 certified and is working towards API Q1 and Q2 accreditation within the same year.
